Yes, according to a Harvard research study. It is the first large-scale study on diet and covid severity. It tracked 600,000 adults from the US and the UK and monitored their diet and covid severity for 8 months. The participants filled out a questionnaire detailing how many plants such as fruits, vegetables, nuts, seeds, whole grains, and beans they ate on a daily basis.
Those in the highest quartile who ate the most plant-based foods were 41 percent less likely to have serious covid-19 infections and 9 percent less likely to get infected.
Here’s the research article: which was published September 6, 2021:

When we use food as medicine, it gives us another tool to fight disease and enhance our health. I can’t think of a better time than now to increase the number of plants we eat each day. God created them with healing chemicals that build our immune system to fight disease. It’s another tool in our toolbox to fight covid-19. And it has no side effects.
How many plants are you eating on a daily basis? The cancer journey motivated me to up mine to 13!
For Your Health,
