Lifestyle Changes Beat Cancer

September 30, 2018

by Ginny Brant

It’s been three and one half years since my cancer diagnosis. After five surgeries, six months of four chemotherapies, three years of chemo by mouth, and one year of immunotherapy infusions, I’m thriving. I still have two years left of treatment, but I’m thankful to God I’m alive and my immune system is flourishing. My doctors call me their “Rock Star” cancer patient. Why? I implemented lifestyle changes that made a significant difference.

These lifestyle changes help to prevent cancer, get you through the cancer journey and help to prevent recurrence. Actually these lifestyle changes can be used to prevent and reverse Alzheimer’s disease (in early stages) as well as many other autoimmune and chronic diseases.

This is the first post of my blog Lifestyle Changes Beat Cancer. Many have asked for this information—and here it is. I will be posting two to three times monthly.

Future topics include:

Foods that prevent cancer and feed cancer

The toxins we are eating and drinking through our skin

Exercise and its role in cancer prevention, cancer treatment, and preventing recurrence

Supplements that help to prevent cancer

The connection between Alzheimer’s and cancer

The best defense is prevention

What you can do to lower your toxic load

How proper hydration prevents cancer and makes chemotherapy more effective

Emotions and their impact on our immune system

The inexpensive vitamin that is powerful in cancer prevention

The gut-brain connection and its impact on the immune system

Cancer is a lifestyle disease with only five to ten percent genetics

What you can do to help your doctor beat your cancer

How to lower your risk for an estrogen-fed cancer

I started this blog for those who want to be preventative, those who are in the journey, and those who desire to prevent recurrence. I was diagnosed with a cancer for which I had no risk or genetic factors. My quest to discover why took me three years of research. Connecting the dots between the science of how the body works, nutrition, functional medicine, medical research, recommendations from doctors nationwide, and Biblical wisdom helped me to lift the fog and improve recovery.

Join me by subscribing to this blog below. May my lessons in life be for your good. God made our bodies with an amazing ability to heal. With our risk of getting now cancer approaching one in two, we’re all vulnerable. Learn how to enhance the healing and put a prevention plan in place.

Join me as I pull back the curtain on cancer and the lifestyle changes that beat cancer!
